THANK YOU FOR BOOKING TROUBLE at' MILL.
It is just as important to us, as it is to
you, that after all the hard work that you and your colleagues have put
into your event that it is a total success. Scroll down the page for
advice on - Tickets, Posters/Flyers, Advertising your event, Food and
Extra ways to raise money.
TICKETS -
You could format and print your own but
why bother when the work is already done for you - Click on the TICKET
GENERATOR link on the left and an excel file opens up that is
pre-formatted to allow you to print up to 200 (numbered in sequence)
tickets - (10 to a page of A4).
It's also very easy for us to include the sale tickets for your event on
the TROUBLE at' MILL online booking office - this allows your customers
(by way of our page) to securely purchase tickets - on line.
TROUBLE at' MILL provide this service free - however there is a small
charge from PAY PAL for use of debit/credit card. This charge can, if
required, be offset by imposing a small booking fee at the time of
purchase or you can work on the philosophy 'A Bird In The Hand Is Worth
Two In The Bush' knowing that you have an advance sale. (This is not as
complicated as it sounds - ring us for details 01254 853929 0781

- Choose one of the POSTERS/FLYERS on the left and click
on it - (In the unlikely event of you not having Adobe PDF Reader
already on your PC you can download using the link on the left). Print
off the required no of posters flyers and then add your own wording to
the blank space. (You can't edit PDF files on screen). These posters are
defaulted to A4 size - however you can alter to A3 or A5 within

of a press release:-
Lancashire's favourite band TROUBLE at' MILL will be playing at
(Your venue) on (Date & Time of Event). The concert will raise money for
(Your Cause) and tickets are available at (Place where tickets are on
sale) or by phoning (Contact phone).
Add a short paragraph about your cause.
Be careful with Press Releases - the publication may contact you and
ask if they can come and take photos. Geat publicity - 'after the event'
! If they approach you re photos - by all means agree but ask them to
confirm that they are going to include something before the event.
FOOD -
If you are thinking of a HOT POT SUPPER for event - take our advice
- we've tried Hot Pots from far & wide - some very good - some awful -
We have found one company - THE HOT POT SUPPER COMPANY consistently
excellent and good value for money when supplying either Hot Pot (with
vegetarian option) or Buffets for events. Good quality - always
delivered on time - served with a smile and all rubbish collect
afterwards. Phone them on 0800 822833.
EXTRA FUNDRAISING:-
Chances are that you will already be thinking about having a raffle
as part of the evening proceedings.
We can include (we don't charge any extra) A Prize Lancashire Quiz
- we provide Answer Sheets and graham will ask 2o amusing questions
during a break - you provide a prize (box of chocs/biscuits for winning
table.
Why not have a Whisky Roll? Let graham have a bottle of whisky
and (towards the end of the evening - whilst the band arte performing
'Whisky in the Jar) he will encourage members of the audience to roll
pound coins at the bottle - the person who's coin lands nearest wins the
whisky (Makes extra money).
If you get too many raffle prizes (or even get a local pub to give a
prize of Dinner for Two) it may be worth asking Graham to do an auction.
IF you have any other extra fund raising
ideas in mind - we will be happy to help.
